Main Wing
The Main Wing is meticulously engineered to achieve exceptional performance and durability. The frame is constructed from laser-cut premium plywood and balsa wood, available in 4mm and 5mm thicknesses, providing a lightweight yet sturdy foundation. The wing panels, which are 2mm thick, are molded using aerospace-grade materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and Kevlar, ensuring superior strength and resistance to stress. To further enhance the wing's load-bearing capacity, twin 30mm diameter carbon fiber spars run through the wing, offering robust support and enabling the wing to achieve a maximum wing load of up to 58kg (~3G). The wing features a total of 4 aileron panels and additional flap panels, all controlled by 6 high-speed 20kg torque servos, ensuring precise and responsive maneuverability. Powered by a twin EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) system, the wing delivers a total thrust of 14.8kg, ensuring powerful and efficient propulsion. The engine is securely mounted on a plywood engine mount, complemented by a 3D-printed carbon fiber shell designed for a 105mm EDF. This combination of advanced materials and engineering makes the Main Wing a critical component for high-performance flight.
